Veronica's Prom

Tonight was Veronica's first Prom.I think that she looked beautiful! They ate dinner at a very nice Italian resturant. After dinner it was picture time at the marina outside the resturant. It was a cool night, and the girls were getting cold in their sleeveless dresses.

Then a little lady when the photographer was taking the picture.Thankfully the evening turned out to be beautiful even though it was a little cool. They all climed into a limo and off to the prom they went. After the prom it will be breakfast at a friends house (it is church youth group sponsored) and then they will be home by 12:30 a.m. All the kids were so excited. Veronica's date was ready to go an hour early and tried to pick her up a half hour early. I told him to slow down that I wasn't even home from work yet. I am glad they were all looking forward to the evening.

I just wish Ronnie was here to send her off to her first prom. This is the second dance she has been to without him there to chaperone. The other one was when she was in 7th grade. He got to talk to her as they were getting ready to drive off in the limo. She looked so lovely!
